In G4 we have been painting our superheroes  costume one colour. We are not aloud to paint the head or the neck because that will be painted skin colour. Miss Slater said that there could not be any white bits. Here are some of them.

This is Paige's superhero.

This is Jayda's superhero

This is Isabelle's super hero.

Paper Mache By G4

Today we started on our Paper Mache for our Inquiry about qualities of superheroes. We were so scared to touch the glue because we thought it might be as sticky as PVA. Some people thought the glue was water. Some people thought the glue was jelly. When we put our hands in the glue it felt warm and sticky. It was almost like a finger bath. There was some big gloopy bits in the glue. Using paper mache is quite a delicate operation.

Here are some of our super sketches...

Freeze Frame By Matthew and Cameron

In G4 we have been learning about  the Olympic values. We were told to get into are desk groups and show a freze frame of some Olympic values. These were really fun and funny to watch. Here are some pictures of us doing some freeze frames, can you tell which value we were showing?

Superheroes! By Aimee and Sarah

We are studying heroes in our lives.

For Visual Art we are looking at qualities that super heros have. We made a brainstorm of these qualities. Here are some of the qualities we came up with: confident, brave, respectful, helpful and unstoppable. We then had to highlight the five qualities we thought were MOST important for a hero to have.

We then came up with a list of possible heroes we look up to. From that list we had to highlight the people that had the five hero qualities we had highlighted earlier. This made it easier to make a final decision.
